We have 24 years of experience in competing and supporting in the Coast to Coast and we want to share that with you.  Over that time we have refined our support crew system to be something that we can offer to a broad range of abilities taking part in the event.

LET'S GO - Coast to Coast Longest Day

Longest Day Support Crew Package

  • Aim to arrive in Christchurch on Monday night at the latest, preferably the weekend if coming from overseas.
  • Compulsory Wednesday gear check team meeting 11am
  • Wednesday kayak set up 12noon
  • An Initial Coast to Coast planning meeting – how to train and Q&A
  • A pre race video conference meeting about your race plan and key details
  • Race planning and gear prep video resources
  • Transport from Christchurch to Kumara
  • Team Dinner in Greymouth
  • Team CP Cycling Jersey or Run Top
  • Supported Athlete Tee and Hoody
  • Thursday and Friday night accommodation in Greymouth
  • Transition practice and run through
  • Team meetings and pre stage briefings so you are fully prepared
  • Bike transport and checks during the race
  • Support through each transition
  • Kayak transport and scrutineering

*Once we contact you to confirm availability, a NZD$400 per person non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot on our 2026 Support Crew Balance payment of  is due on 10 November 2026.

* Deposit is non refundable and an additional deposit may be required.

* CANCELLATION before Dec 1 2026, 50% of fees (exc deposit) are refundable. After Dec 2, no refunds applicable, possible transfer to following year (less deposit). Additional deposit fee will be required for 2028 roll-overs, along with any price increase difference.

We deliver an authentic coast to coast experience and a key part of that is camping with everyone else at Klondyke corner at the end of the Mountain Run stage.  We build our own tent village to house you and our team.

Coast to Coast Support Crew Packages

Our full service Support Crew package will see you supported by our team to make sure that you have an awesome Coast to Coast experience. You will be under our care from Wednesday to Sunday* of the racing week and we will ensure that you are well organised before you arrive.  We will work with you to develop a race plan that you will have practiced and together we will help you execute it on race day. We will help you through each transition making sure that it is either super speedy or relaxed so you can enjoy the experience.

We have support crew packages for either the 2 day Individual, Tandem or Team event through to the Longest Day Coast to Coast:

– Aim to arrive in Christchurch on the Monday of raceweek at the latest,, (keep in mind we also have shake out ride on Sunday morning), preferably the weekend prior if coming from overseas.

– Compulsory Wednesday gear check team meeting 11am

– Wednesday kayak set up 9am and compulsory bike checks

– Group Zoom Meet-ups – Q&A with Coach Richard Greer & Support Crew Leads

– TeamCPNZ video resources

– Team Dinner in Greymouth

– We will stay together on Thursday night in Greymouth

– Camp set up at Klondyke Corner Friday night

– Team meetings and pre-stage briefings so you are fully prepared

– Transport to the start of the race

– Bike transport and checks during the race

– Support through each transition

– Kayak transport and scrutineering

– Transition Gear Bags

– A high five as you leave each transition

*Once we contact you to confirm availability, a NZD$400 per person non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot on our 2027 Support Crew  LET’S GO Package.

Balance payment is due on 10 November 2026.

* CANCELLATION before Dec 1 2026, 50% of fees (exc deposit) are refundable. After Dec 2, no refunds applicable, possible transfer to following year (less deposit). Additional deposit fee will be required for 2028 roll-overs, along with any price increase difference.

*It is imperative you are in Christchurch on Tuesday night at the latest of race week as our support programming begins Wednesday and Monday night if you would like to take part in Riverboat trip on the Tuesday (subject to weather & availabilty)

I've now completed the Kathmandu Coast to Coast Multi-Sport Event twice and loved every second of both experiences. A big part of the joy has been because of my association with TeamCPNZ with their expert advice, supreme logistics, and all-round great humans. I have loved the connections I've made and the experiences I've banked with this event, and reckon with TeamCPNZ at your back, you're bound to have a magic time!
