2024 Episode 1 of THE WILD Podcast is all about going WILD in the mountains.

We are stoked to be chatting with two men with massive mountain-running CV’s… Mal Law, creator and Event Director of The WILD and Tim Sutton, one of the event’s ambassadors. What these two guys don’t know about mountain running – and the places they haven’t explored on foot – really isn’t worth knowing about.

Mal is probably best known for his High Five-0 Challenge (an attempt to run 50 mountain marathons over 50 peaks in 50 days) that raised over $500,000 for the Mental Health Foundation and as founder of the Wild Things Trail Running Club.

Tim is a legend in his own backyard, that being the ferocious Tararua Range, where he has the unique distinction of finishing all three versions of the 3 SK Traverse in under 24 hours.

We’ll be yarning with these two giants of the sport about their passion for exploring wild places on foot and more specifically about The WILD and what it takes to prepare yourself for running the epic courses that the event offers.
