Group Running

Improve your running by developing your running technique, strength and fitness with a bunch of other enthusiastic people. Your CP Coach will ensure that everyone is challenged to their own level and no one is left behind.

All levels are catered for by using our interval training method so you are challenged to the level that you want to be. Faster people can do 3-4 laps of a certain course while slower runners do 1-2 and no one gets left behind.

We deliver three regular group running sessions per week.  You can either attend casually, purchase a membership or sign up for one of our group event programmes

CP Winter Group Running

Join our team to keep yourself honest and maintain your fitness over the winter period. These group sessions run over winter from the end of daylight savings April-September.

Thursday Evening Run Group This is our weekly evening hill session that is based around Westmorland.  Running around the streets it is important that you bring your head lamp and wear bright clothing especially for the stairs that your CP Coach will find for you!

New Balance Christchurch Run Club

Powered by Team CP and the Frontrunner

Run Club Join one of our three group lead runs so you can develop your running and have a great time doing it.  Meeting at the Frontrunner Colombo each group will be lead by an experienced runner who will share tips, encourage you and lead you around prearranged loop.  Starting March 12th and building specifically towards the Christchurch Marathon, Half or 10km.

CP Summer Group Running

Join our team to build up to your next event. Develop your technique, fitness, strength and speed to help you nail that PB or finish the event for the first time. These classes run from the start of daylight savings over summer September-April.

Tuesday Morning Running Group This is an early morning flat running session in the centre of Christchurch for all of those early birds out there.

Meeting at Hagley Park Tennis courts on a Tuesday morning

Thursday Evening Run Group Based out of Halswell Quarry this is a fantastic place to run with a huge variety of terrain to keep you interested and on your toes. Everyone is challenged to their own level and lots of fun is had! (although some of it could be classified as “type 2” fun…)
