Team CP have spots available in our SUPPORT CREW Service for 2024.
We are very excited for what is in store for our SUPPORTED ATHLETES for 2024.

We have 22 years of experience in competing and supporting in the Coast to Coast and we want to share that with you.  Over that time we have refined our support crew system to be something that we can offer to a broad range of abilities taking part in the event.

Everything that you need to make sure that you have a fantastic Coast to Coast.

Type Description Price

Coast to Coast from start to finish

 Everything is sorted for you to have a great coast to coast experience.  All you need to do is prepare well and have an awesome adventure over the iconic coast to coast course.

  • Your full support crew service (as listed below)
  • Team CP Cycling Jersey, Run Top or Vest
  • Supported Athlete Tee
  • Jet Boat ride pre race to view the mighty Waimak
  • Your kayak for the race
  • Kayak Gear hire as required (PFD, Paddle Jacket, Helmet, Paddle)
  • 3 nights accommodation (total) in Christchurch before and after the event.
  • Greymouth accommodation.
  • Race meals
  • Day 1 massage (2 Day event)
  • Transport from Christchurch to Kumara

Team CP Support crew service

    • Aim to arrive in Christchurch on Tuesday night at the latest, preferably the weekend prior if coming from overseas.
    • Compulsory Wednesday gear check team meeting 11am
    • Wednesday kayak set up 12noon
    • An Initial Coast to Coast planning meeting – how to train and Q&A with Coach Richard Greer
    • A pre race video conference meeting about your race plan and key details with Coach Richard Greer
    • Race planning and gear prep video resources
    • Team Dinner in Greymouth
    • Kayak and bike hire pick up and drop off
    • We will stay together on Thursday night in Greymouth
    • Camp set up at Klondyke Corner Friday night
    • Transition practice and run through
    • Team meetings and pre stage briefings so you are fully prepared
    • Transport to the start of the race
    • Bike transport and checks during the race
    • Support through each transition
    • Kayak transport and scrutineering
    • A high five as you leave each transition

*Once we contact you to confirm availability, a NZD$400 per person non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot on our 2024 Support Crew.

Balance payment of NZD$3550.00 per person is due on 10 November 2023.

* Deposit is non refundable and an additional deposit may be required.

* CANCELLATION before Dec 1 2023, 50% of fees (exc deposit) are refundable. After Dec 2, no refunds applicable, possible transfer to following year (less deposit). Additional deposit fee will be required for 2025 roll-overs, along with any price increase difference.

  • Aim to arrive in Christchurch on Tuesday night at the latest, preferably the weekend if coming from overseas.

  • Wednesday kayak set up 12noon
  • An Initial Coast to Coast planning meeting – how to train and Q&A
  • A pre race video conference meeting about your race plan and key details
  • Race planning and gear prep video resources
  • Transport from Christchurch to Kumara
  • Team Dinner in Greymouth
  • Team CP Cycling Jersey, Run Top or Vest
  • Supported Athlete Tee
  • Thursday and Friday night accommodation in Greymouth
  • Transition practice and run through
  • Team meetings and pre stage briefings so you are fully prepared
  • Bike transport and checks during the race
  • Support through each transition
  • Kayak transport and scrutineering
  • A high five as you leave each transition
  • Optional extras – Christchurch accommodation, bike hire, kayak hire (depending on availability) and meals

We deliver an authentic coast to coast experience and a key part of that is camping with everyone else at Klondyke corner at the end of the Mountain Run stage.  We build our own tent village to house you and our team but if you would prefer a little more luxury make sure that you ask us about motorhome hire for the weekend.

Coast to Coast Support Crew Packages

Our full service Support Crew package will see you supported by our team to make sure that you have an awesome Coast to Coast experience. You will be under our care from Wednesday to Sunday* of the racing week and we will ensure that you are well organised before you arrive.  We will work with you to develop a race plan that you will have practiced and together we will help you execute it on race day. We will help you through each transition making sure that it is either super speedy or relaxed so you can enjoy the experience.

We have support crew packages for either the 2 day Individual, Tandem or Team event through to the Longest Day Coast to Coast

*It is imperative you are in Christchurch on Tuesday night at the latest of race week as our support programming begins Wednesday
